Salish Sea Poetry Festival presents A Fairhaven Poetry Crawl
Event Date: Thursday, April 23, 2026
Time: 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Cost: FREE
Join us for a free, all-ages "poetry crawl" through the heart of Fairhaven! We'll start at Village Books at 4:30, then migrate to Stones Throw Brewing, Skylarks Cafe, and the Corner Taphouse--listening to local poets at each stop. After a short reading at each venue, enjoy a drink or snack, visit with poets, and make new friends before moving on with the group. Bring a poem of your own to share during the open mic at our final stop. Full timetable: Village Books (featuring the Village Books Poetry Group) at 4:30, Stones Throw (featuring The Bellingham Review) at 5:30, Skylarks (featuring Whatcom READS & Whatcom WRITES) at 6:30, and the Corner Taphouse (featuring an open mic!) at 7:30. Presented by the Salish Sea Poetry Festival, a branch of the Whatcom Poetry Series.
